Only top quality Sangiovese Grosso grapes are selected to make this Brunello. The vineyards are on the southern and western slopes of Montalcino and enjoy a more intense exposure to sunlight and maritime winds. The grapes grown under these conditions tend to produce wines with more power and complexity. Ruby red color with purple hues. Good fragrance, hints of ripe fruit well blended with the nuances of oak. Good structure and tannins. Ideal with red meats, roasts, game and aged cheeses.
