Soil from the Later Bathonian era, white marls and limestone. Wine with white flower fragrance (acacia, honeysuckle), with aromas of honey and smoke guaranteed to stand up to bottle ageing thanks to its structure and balance. The wine is sourced from one parcel in Pernand and one parcel in Corton Pouget. The fermentation (using only the native yeasts) ends in barrel with a controlled temperature of between 18-22 degrees Celsius to ensure that aromatic freshness is maintained. The wine remains in cask a little over 10 months, never using more than 10% new oak.
