An incredible white from the Savoie for a killer price. This wine is 100% Jacquere which produces a rather delicate nose but the palate explodes with lemon oil, beeswax and pears. It’s well balanced with bright acidity, a little bit of weight, and just the slightest bit of effervescence. A phenomenal wine for an absolute steal!!! . The best Jacquere is grown around the cru villages of Apremont, Cruet, and Abymes. Abymes is located just about 50 miles each way from the Swiss and Italian borders, and less than 100 miles west over the Alps from Turin. Pair with fondue and raclette, but also works with chicken and fish.
