Michelle and Jean-Michel Masson created the Domaine Masson-Blondelt in 1975. In 1980, they built, in the heart of the village of Pouilly, a cellar buried on 3 levels to work by gravity. Their 21 Hectares of vineyard AOC of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are planted on the best terroirs in hillsides facing South/South East and enjoy a microclimate created by the Loire. They have not used chemical fertilizers or insecticides for decades. Their wine-making techniques have banished chemical treatments, and minimize the use of SO2.
