The Merk wine estate is family owned by Walter and Rita Merk and run by their sons Jochen and Gerrit. They have been growing organically since 1990! The 2011 Riesling Feinherb is lively, with hints of orange peel, apricot and honey. It’s a little off dry, but with balancing acidity.
