This is a blend of two vineyards planted in 1978 and 1982. Although not 100% oak we believe that some oak fermentation helps the Chardonnay pick up oxygen which enhances the flavors. What remains in bottle is a delicate subtle mineral and apple skin driven Chardonnay with hints of vanilla complexly layered overbeautiful texture. Long and elegant, cool climate chardonnay.
