The vineyard from which this wild wine was sourced is over 100 years old, remaining untainted as an unrelenting suburban sprawl has grown around it like ivy. Luckily, as generations flowed from one into the next in Contra Costa County, a collective wisdom and reverence prevailed, protecting and sustaining this precious plot through the years. Vines of this age are rare and coveted as they produce wines of character and intrigue. This well-made wine offers a complex profile of fresh mint, earth, and black and blue fruits.
